Sunshine is on track to become one of Melbourne's most connected transport precincts, and now's your chance to hear about it straight from the source.

On Wednesday 12 August, 10am, The Work Studio is hosting a free information session with Kim Hutchinson, Senior Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Advisor on the Melbourne Airport Rail project.

The upgrade will turn Sunshine Station into a major transport superhub — bringing together metro, airport, regional and future Melton line services in one interchange. It's a big deal for the Inner West, and one that will shape how people move through and do business in Sunshine for years to come.

What to expect on the day

  • 10:00am– 10.30am Presentation on the project, its progress and what's ahead followed by open Q&A

  • Morning tea will be running throughout, so come along for a coffee and a chat before or after the session

Who can come?

This session is open to The Work Studio members and the wider community — so bring a colleague, a neighbour, or anyone curious about what's happening just down the road.

Numbers are limited to make sure everyone gets a proper chance to ask questions, so please register your interest by 5pm, Monday 10 August 2026. See you there!
